The Sugar Boyz will be back in play Tuesday against the country of Estonia, and the big question people are asking is can the Sugar Boyz repeat history.
The team has been hard at training since defeating Andorra 1-0 last week in its first of two European encounters. They know that Estonia wants to make a point. But, so do we. The match is likely to be heavily fought and only the strong-hearted dares to make a prediction.
But, it is time to spread the word. Tell your friends and family, hit Twitter and Facebook, and tell everyone that the senior men’s St. Kitts and Nevis National Football Team comes up against Estonia on Tuesday in Estonia. Because of the time difference, the match will start at 1 p.m., St. Kitts-Nevis time.
The St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) has sent the Team to Europe as part of a program of development that provides needed international exposure of the players. It’s a way of fine-tuning their technical skills and game play strategies.
Over the past 10 months the SKNFA has been pursuing intensive developmental programs at every level of football in St. Kitts and Nevis, from grassroots to the senior men’s team, from players to officials, no one is being left behind in the SKNFA’s program of development.
Meanwhile, high officials of the SKNFA want the whole of St. Kitts and Nevis to rally behind the Sugar Boyz through social media and any other means at our disposal.
