Coach of St. Pauls Iroy Cunga Jeffers said his focus is just to get wins, which is why he is pleased
with the result in Saturday’s match. “I am grateful for the victory tonight. In the second half we
went out and executed what we wanted—to get maximum three points…I want nothing else
but points,” Jeffers said. He lauded Man of the Match Keithroy Freeman for his performance so
far in the playoffs. “I know he will execute. He is a player with a lot of heart, a lot of guts. So we
have to be grateful for a player like that, especially on the attacking end,” he said.

For Austin Huggins, coach of Spurs, he said a tactical change was made in the second half but
he believes his players need to be more confident in their abilities. “The second half we made
some tactical changes. We changed our formation from a 4-3-3 and we went into a 3-5-2—
trying to get more men forward into the box and that will create more havoc for the opposing
team,” Huggins said. “We had one or two chances that we could have capitalized and even
come out with a draw abut I think the guys need to be more confident in themselves,” he
added. He surmised that the youthfulness and lack of experience in some of his players may be
the reason for his team failing to get positive results. He also believes his players and some in
other teams need to take better care of their bodies to remain fit throughout the season. He

commented on this in light of the fact that several of his and other players went down to
injuries throughout the tournament and the regular season.
