CFU NEXTGEN REFEREE COURSE TO BE HOSTED IN ST. KITTS AND NEVIS
St. Kitts and Nevis will serve as the host nation for the CFU NextGen Referee Course, scheduled to take place from January 16–18, 2026. This prestigious developmental programme is being conducted under the auspices of the Caribbean Football Union (CFU) and is aimed at strengthening the standard of football officiating across the region.
The three-day course will bring together referees from across the Caribbean, providing a valuable platform for education, technical development, and knowledge-sharing among emerging and promising match officials. Participants will benefit from classroom instruction, practical on-field sessions, and assessments designed to enhance decision-making, fitness, interpretation of the Laws of the Game, and overall match management.
Hosting the CFU NextGen Referee Course underscores St. Kitts and Nevis’ Football Association (SKNFA) continued commitment to football development and its growing role as a hub for regional football education and capacity building. The programme forms part of the CFU’s broader strategy to invest in the next generation of referees and ensure consistent, high-quality officiating throughout Caribbean football competitions.
