Coach Passy commends performance of Sugar Boyz
To all the Sugar Boyz Fans
To every St Kitts and Nevis National Football team Fan
During the upcoming month of November, the National Team will host Haiti in the Warner Park, in what is a tremendous opportunity for the team to make history and go to the Gold Cup. A win vs Haiti either puts us through in a direct way, or in the very least, allows us to play for a spot by means of competing as one of the best second places in the region.
It has been an outstanding year for the team. We began the year ranked 121 in the FIFA Ranking, and October 20th, FIFA will publish its ranking and position us as 73 in the world, our best ever position. Out of the 7 games we have played, we have won 5, drew 1, and lost 1 recently vs French Guyana. We have conceded only one goal during the year. And yet, the great opportunity that we have waited for, is just around the corner.
Maybe you´ve never heard it this clear from a coach, and less so from a National Team Coach. But we need you in the stadium! Every seat that is occupied helps the team obtain inner strength, confidence, and the desire to win increases dramatically. A full stadium can be a deal breaker, a game changer for us. We will be facing a very tough team, who will be fighting itself for its spot in the Gold Cup.
Personally, I am tremendously proud of the professionalism that each and every player has shown throughout the year. Each one has represented the country as true ambassadors. I truly, truly hope that in the upcoming match, all of us together, The FA who has done a tremendous job, sponsors, coaching staff, players, and most importantly, all fans, can share a memorable night, where we all look at the tea say to ourselves: We are so proud!
See you soon
