Congratulations extended to newly re-elected president of the SKNFA Anthony Johnson by CFU and SKNOC.
Basseterre, St. Kitts- Since being re-elected for a second term in office, President Anthony Johnson and his staff have received numerous congratulations from a number of organisations and individuals locally, regionally and internationally.
The SKNOC (St. Kitts-Nevis Olympic Committee has joined in congratulating our president Mr. Anthony Johnson on his victory on Sunday 30th June, 2013. In a letter addressed to Mr. Anthony Johnson, President of the SKNOC Mr. Alphonso Bridgewater extended his “heartiest congratulations” on behalf of the local Olympic Committee on hi re-election. Mr,. Leroy Greene, Assistant Secretary of the SKNOC relayed that he was pleased to accept the invitation to the SKNFA’s Ordinary Congress and General Elections. President Bridgewater requested his Congratulations be conveyed to the entire executive committee of the SKNFA.
“The results of the elections do indicate a tremendous amount of trust and confidence in you and your team. Rest assured that the SKNOC remains committed to supporting the development and success of football in the Federation and we stand ready to consolidate the positive relationship and spirit of collaboration that exists between the SKNOC and the football fraternity. We have further learnt that Mr Stanley Jacobs will retain the position of General Secretary of the SKNFA. Congratulations to Mr Jacobs who also serves on the Executive of the SKNOC”.
One day after, the SKNFA received further congratulatory remarks addressed to its president from the General Secretary of CFU (Caribbean Football Union).The Caribbean Football Union which has had a longstanding relationship with the SKNFA extended its “sincerest congratulations” to the president and the other executive members on their success at the recently held elections.
“As you begin to prepare for your tenure, the CFU takes this opportunity to renew our commitment to the St Kitts-Nevis Football Association. May the perseverance you and your Executive displayed in the electoral process characterise the next four (4) years of your leadership of football development in your country”.
