Basseterre, St. Kitts- The first game of the J-League Finals was nothing short of exciting. No one at the Warner Park Stadium at the end of the first half foresaw how the game would end. Why? After a scoreless first half, hardly no one predicts five goals to one team within the remaining forty-five minutes.
Back with a bang does not even begin to describe the way Spurs came out of the dressing room. after forty-five minutes of not scoring, Chavone Archibald took the opportunity to score for his team taking them ahead of Delphic Newtown United. Twelve minutes later, Tahir Hanley increased H.E Garden Hotspurs’ lead and then within seventeen(17) minutes Carlos Bertie, the newly infamous goalscorer for Spurs created a hat-trick for himself.
Delphic Newtown United, a club generally praised fro their winning ways were out-shined by H.E Garden Hotspurs. The second game of the J-League Finals takes place on Tuesday 14th May, 2013.
