Johsiah Imo, Tyquan Terrell and Jamihk Gumbs selected for Chelsea FC’s Digicel Kickstart
Basseterre, St. Kitts- Johsiah, Jamihk and Tyquan have each proved to be hard working, technically and positionally versatile and potential ambassadors for St. Kitts-Nevis. At the opening ceremony on Monday 16th June, Stephen Allen Willett confided in those in attendance that the a fore mentioned qualities being sought after.
After two full days of training and high expectations the coaches revealed their picks for the trip to Barbados. Allen Willett relayed that his objectives for the clinic are to bring the Chelsea Football philosophy, knowledge and legacies to the region. Coaches ere treated to sessions aimed at assisting at all tiers of football while the players were urged to learn something even if they were not selected.
players such as Gerard williams, Devaughn Elliott, Kyrhon phillip , Vinceroy Nelson, wasim Howe, Hasani Flemmin, Tahir Hanley, Evanseroy Barnes, Jamar Smith, Raheem Francis, Giovanni Lake, Devaughni Nisbett, Yohannes Mitcham were all recipients of kickstart recognition in the past. Ronaldo Belgrove was chosen as the “Wild Card” pick.
