Kittitian Assistant referee Graeme Browne officiates at CFU Caribbean Cup Finals.
Graeme Browne has made history by being the first assistant referee to be appointed to officiate in the CFU Caribbean Cup Finals. At thirty-five (35) Browne is respected as one of the most accomplished assistant referees to date on the island.
Graeme has been appointed to officiate in several regional tournaments recently including the CFU U-20 World Cup Qualifiers Final Round in Jamaica and most recently the CFU Caribbean Cup Final’s first place game.
Technical Director Lenny Lake who was present at the finals remarked that “Graeme has made the federation of St. Kitts and Nevis very proud. He showed that he is one of the Caribbean’s top officials. It also tells us that we are on the right track and it is just a matter of time before we produce more referees of such high quality. The SKNFA Referee’s department must make full use of this experience and use Mr. Browne as a role model for the young referees to emulate. I wish Mr. Browne the best and hope he gets an opportunity to officiate in the Gold Cup in the summer of next year”.
The SKNFA would like to wish Graeme the best in all his future endeavours.
