Rulings of recent SKNFA protests

Basseterre, St. Kitts- The SKNFA wishes to advise the general public of the following rulings made based on recent protests submitted to the FA:

In the case of St. Thomas Trinity Strikers vs Rams Village Superstars the ruling is as follows:
St. Thomas/Trinity Strikers F.C was in breach of Rule 10 (C), “A player who accumulates four (4) yellow cards in the same competition will automatically be suspended for his/her team’s next match in the same competition.” As such the St. Thomas/Trinity Strikers has forfeited the match while Rams Village Superstars has been awarded the points according to rule 6 (K), “Any team playing a player who is under suspension will forfeit that match or matches concerned and the 3 points awarded to the opponents, as if it were a match won with 3 goals to none.”

In the matter of Winner Circle Newtown United it was found that the Winners Circle Newtown United F.C was in breach of Rule 10 (D), “A player who receives a yellow card in two consecutive matches shall be automatically suspended for the next match of the same competition in which his team is fixtured to play. He may also be summoned by the disciplinary committee, which can impose further sanctions.” As such the Winners Circle Newtown United F.C has forfeited the match while Mantab has been awarded the points according to rule 6 (K), “Any team playing a player who is under suspension will forfeit that match or matches concerned and the 3 points awarded to the opponents, as if it were a match won with 3 goals to none.”
