After a hot start to the SKNFA Premier League this season, Fast Saddlers are on a four-game losing streak after going down to S.L. Horsfords St. Paul’s United F.C. on Saturday night. Playing at the Warner Park Football Stadium, St. Paul’s defeated Saddlers 2-0: goals coming from Keithroy Freeman in the 24th and Karique Thomas 74th min.
The match was broadcast live on the SKNFA website. Commentator and football analyst Loshaun Dixon and Esinton Watts provided post-match commentary on both teams. “St. Paul’s had many chances and could score more,” said Watts. “Saddlers had some sporadic spells but no sustained pressure to create any problems for St. Paul’s.” Watts noted that after losing to Conaree a couple weeks ago, they have been unable to get back to winning ways, sowing doubt in the mind of fans who were expecting Saddlers to challenge for the title or a playoff spot this season, based on their hot start.
In the day’s other match, Rams Village Superstars returned to Premier League action with a 4-0 drubbing of newly promoted Hotsprings Bath United.
