The SKNFA and Concacaf hosted a Concacaf Club Licensing Workshop at the SKNFA Technical Center on Saturday. The workshop was held to familiarise the clubs with the Concacaf Comet platform, where all club licensing documents have to be uploaded.
The aim of club licensing is to raise the level of club football by providing essential requirements and minimum standards to further enhance club football competitions.
The Club Licensing System is based on five key criteria: sporting, administrative, financial, infrastructure, and legal. These criteria aim to safeguard the credibility and integrity of club competitions while improving the level of professionalism and promoting transparency in the finances, ownership, and control of clubs. The workshop was conducted by Alfredo Quisero of Costa Rica, who works in Concacaf Club Licensing and Competitions.
