SKNFA invests in overseas-based players for Caribbean Cup.
As of today 4th October, 2012 the St. Kitts-Nevis national team has welcomed a whopping total of nine(9) overseas based players. While some of the players were born in the federation, some have never been to St. Kitts.
Son of St. Peters Atiba Harris has journeyed back home to play for his country after many years. Gerard Williams is now home from W Connection in Trinidad and Orlando Mitchum from the Antigua Baracudas. Zephaniah Thomas made his way here from Scotland while Romaine Sawyers, Akil Grier, Tesfa Robinson, Patrece Liburd and Aaron Moses voyaged from England.
The team looks very strong with these players joining and we have high hopes for our lads as they look to qualify for the next round of the CFU Caribbean Cup. The matches take place beginning 10th October and end on 14th October with matches also scheduled for 12th October.
