SKNFA Reinvigorates Caines Pastures For Football
Caines Pasture in rural St. Kitts has been reinvigorated once again; this time into a functional football field which will serve the neighboring communities of Parson Ground, Dieppe Bay and other areas.
The newly elected president Atiba Harris has made it his mission to develop football in rural St. Kitts and Nevis, to help grow the sport and provide opportunities for the youth in those areas.
The field was left unkempt and was mostly used for grazing cows. Earlier this month, goalposts were installed and the field lines marked, ensuring the field is ready for use. Refocusing Caines Pasture back to a level where it’s suitable to play football, is ideal in the SKNFA’s mission. Although this is a work in progress, the new elected SKNFA executive continues to demonstrate its commitment to Capisterre region.
