SKNFA Turning Attention to Under 23 Olympic Qualifiers

Basseterre, St. Kitts – Now that the World Cup Qualifiers are over, the St. Kitts and Nevis Football Association (SKNFA) is turning its attention to the hosting of next week’s CFU Finals of the Under 23 Olympic Qualifiers.
The Qualifiers are due to be staged here in St. Kitts at the Warner Park Football Stadium on Thursday 24th, Saturday 26th and Monday 28th November 2011.
Four countries will be involved, namely, Cuba, Suriname, Trinidad & Tobago and St. Kitts & Nevis.
On November 24th Trinidad and Tobago will play Cuba and St. Kitts and Nevis will take on Suriname. Two days later Cuba will battle Suriname and St. Kitts and Nevis will play Trinidad and Tobago. Then on the 28th Suriname will take on Trinidad and Tobago and St. Kitts and Nevis will come up against Cuba.
Two matches will be played each day, at 6:00pm and 8:00pm respectively.
The top two teams from this group will move on to the final qualifying stage of the CONCACAF Group.
The under 23 team is now in training under the leadership of manager Keithly Pemberton and Coach Jeffrey Hazel. The sessions are being held at the Silver Jubilee Stadium.
