SKNFA undergoes Strategic Planning Seminar.

Over the period September 25th-27th 2013, the SKNFA began phase 2 of the FIFA “Performance” programme. The performance programme is a football management programme of FIFA which the SKNFA enrolled in 2011 with a Executive retreat at the Mount Nevis Hotel in Nevis.

Phase 2 of the programme involves the formulation of the SKNFA Strategic Plan for the period 2014-2018. The course instructors are as follows:

Anton Corneal
Howard McIntosh

The goals of the workshop are to:

-Share with the Federation an understanding of the importance and benefits of Strategic Planning in the MA
-Facilitate, guide and work with the SKNFA in the Strategic Planning process as the MA develops its current and future Strategic Plans
-Share FIFA’s experiences, tools and techniques used in Strategic Planning
-Work through the process from Strategic Planning to business/action plans with the SKNFA.

Some may ask Why the SKNFA need a Strategic Plan. Provided below are some reasons:

-As a management tool
-To give staff a direction and enable allocation of resources
-To manage activities in a prioritised way
-To measure performance As a communications tool
-To share with stakeholders
-To promote future direction
-To improve image and enhance revenue generating possibilities

The said workshop caters for persons employed at the SKNFA as President, ExCo Members, General Secretary and Technical Director, on a daily.
