St. Kitts-Nevis Football Update

The national Senior Men’s team is expected to leave the Federation today for Puerto Rico to engage in the third World Cup qualifying match on Friday 7th October then almost immediately after that a home game against St. Lucia at Warner Park in Basseterre on Tuesday 11 October.
The females national U-17 team is expect to play in their return leg to Trinidad and Tobago today 5th October.
The SKNFA grassroots programme was launched in Sandy Point on Saturday 1st October. President Johnson, Technical Director Lenny Lake and Dominic Stevens attended this launch and were able to handover various soccer equipment to the Sandy Point Football Association to get their program going. Further activity is expected in the Grassroots Programme shortly
The John Barnes Kick Start clinic concluded on Monday evening with an 11 v 11 scrimmage among the young boys then the presentation of certificates. Following that the announcement was made regarding the four young boys who will travel to Trinidad and Tobago on November 1st for further training. (see article on this page for further information)
The Premier Teams continue their preparation for the start of the Premier League scheduled for an 15th October kick off with a double header at Warner Park.
