St Kitts-Nevis U-20 Men’s Nation Team competes in World Cup Qualifier

The St Kitts-Nevis U-20 Men’s National Team left the Federation on Friday 5th November for Bonaire to compete in the U-20 Men’s World Cup Qualifier. The team was met at the airport by the President of the St Kitts Nevis Football Association, Mr. Anthony Johnson, Management of the SKNFA and family members.

St Kitts Nevis team played their first match on Sunday 7th November against Cuba and it was a highly contested match. The first half ended with both team unable to find the back of the net. The second half was a little different as Cuba scored in the 66th minute of the game. The St Kitts-Nevis team did not give up and challenged the Cuban defense but were unsuccessful in scoring against the Cuba Team. The final score was 1-0 in favour of Cuba.

St. Kitts-Nevis team is scheduled to play the Netherland on November 9 at 8pm, and the British Virgin Islands on November 11 at 6pm.

The U-20 National Team includes: Devaughn Elliot, Kadeem Inniss, Javien Blanchette, Shaquille Adams, Lawrence Jeffers, Shaquille Pringle, Andy Liburd, Eljayson Henry, Eric Carter, Ahmad Nicholls, Kendale Liburd, Zachary R Getz, Delroy Barzey, Malivai Harris, Jamal Francis, Michael Perez, Bradley Williams, and Dylan Ferdinand.
