Time to kick it into high gear; SKNFA Carnival Cup 2013-2014.

Basseterre, St. Kitts- As we get into the spirit of Christmas and Carnival, we also get into a more intense round of football. The SKNFA’s annual carnival Cup will once again fill your holiday season with two days of fantastic football action. After one round of intense football, four teams have earned themselves the right to a shot at this year’s Carnival Cup title.

H.E Garden Hotspurs were the first team to advance after having completed an undefeated first round amassing a total of twenty-three points from nine games. Spurs are top seed as no other team was able to complete the first round matching or surpassing their record of seven wins and two draws. Island Auto Kactus Conaree F.C qualified in second place amassing a total of nineteen points in nine games. s. L. Horsford St. Pauls came in at third with seventeen points under their belt and Rams Village Superstars advanced ahead of Winner Circle Newtown United by a mere two points totalling sixteen points.

The matches are scheduled for the Warner park Football Stadium and will commence on Saturday 21st. December.
The first game at 4:00 p.m will feature Island auto Kactus Conaree F.C and S. L. Horsford St. Pauls. If you can recall the last Final Four matchup, these were the two teams that had to battle for the title. Interestingly enough, they also came up against each other in the President’s Cup Finals. The results are now even as they both emerged victorious in one of two match ups. The second game at 6:00 p.m. will feature H. E Garden Hotspurs and Rams Village Superstars. Both were contenders in this year’s Final Four championship but did not advance to the finals.

On Sunday at 7:00 p.m the winners of the two Saturday match ups will play against each other in a fierce battle for all the marbles.The third place game will commence at 5:00 p.m.
