Man of the match was Kimaree Rogers, who like all the other recipients, won $500 from the
SKNFA. After the match Village Coach Stephen Clarke praised his team for an overall good
performance. “In the second half we try keep the ball and possess it, look for the open space
because we know (St. Peters) would come. They want goals—so they opened up and we
capitalized on the chances that we got,” Coach Clarke said.
Coach of St. Peters Anthony Nets Isaac said a few defensive mistakes cost the team a result.
“Just a few mistakes the guys made. Village came out and really, really wanted it. You could see
from the get go that they really wanted it. A few mistakes and it really cost us,” Isaac said.
